Cole: i don't care if my body shatters into pieces like a statue. I am their leader, and they are my brothers.......i can at least deal with these scars without being babied by them, without seeming weak......

(( seriously, with being the leader, not much of his past revealed, his insecurities, his NEED to be strong, and the trauma of losing Zane till season 4( and am i weird for thinking that thought his food obsession was an eating disorder at first?), he wouldnt care about hurting himself if it meant he could protect the others))
